Azul Airlines Flights, Tickets & Reservations

Brazil is huge, and landing in the country is only half the journey. The other half is getting to the city you actually came for. That is where Azul Airlines flights come in. Azul flies to more Brazilian cities than any other airline, so whether you are heading to São Paulo for work, Recife for the beaches, or a small hometown most maps skip, Azul can usually get you there.

With FaresMatch, you can compare Azul Airlines tickets side by side, see flight times and connections at a glance, and check the fare rules before you pay. Booking one-way, round-trip, or multi-city? Enter your route and dates above and see what is available for your trip.

Why Travelers Choose Azul Airlines

Azul Brazilian Airlines was founded in 2008 by David Neeleman, the entrepreneur who also started JetBlue. Today it is Brazil's largest airline by number of cities served and direct domestic routes, with more than 800 daily flights to over 130 destinations.

Here is what that means for your trip:

• Reach beyond the big cities. Azul's domestic network goes deep into regional Brazil, so you can often fly closer to your final stop instead of facing a long bus ride.

• Fly nonstop from Florida. Azul connects Fort Lauderdale and Orlando directly with Brazil.

• Keep your trip on one ticket. When your international flight and your onward domestic flight are booked together, your connection is protected under one itinerary.

• Earn points as you fly. Eligible flights earn points through Azul Fidelidade, the airline's loyalty program.

Azul Airlines Flights from USA

Azul's U.S. service is built around Florida. If you are searching for Azul Airlines flights from USA, these are the two airports to know.

Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Brazil

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has nonstop Azul flights to Campinas (VCP), the airline's main hub near São Paulo. Depending on the season, Azul also flies from Fort Lauderdale to other Brazilian cities such as Recife and Belo Horizonte.

Orlando (MCO) to Brazil

Orlando International Airport is a favorite with Brazilian families visiting the theme parks, and Azul links it nonstop with Campinas. Seasonal flights to Recife and other cities may also be available, depending on your travel dates.

Flying From Another U.S. City?

Live in New York, Chicago, Houston, or Los Angeles? You can fly to Fort Lauderdale or Orlando first and connect to Azul from there. When you search on FaresMatch, check whether the whole trip is on one ticket. If it is split across separate bookings, leave extra time between flights.

Note: Some Azul routes are seasonal and frequencies change through the year. Enter your exact dates to see what is flying when you want to travel.

Azul Airlines Baggage Allowance

Nothing ruins a good fare faster than a surprise bag fee at the airport. Azul's baggage allowance depends on the fare you buy and the route you fly, so check it before you book.

• Carry-on: Review the size and weight limits for your cabin bag and personal item on your specific flight.

• Checked bags: Not every fare includes a checked bag. Your ticket details will show whether bags are included or cost extra.

• Extra bags: Flying home with gifts for the family? Check excess baggage fees in advance, as they are usually cheaper to add before travel day.

If your trip combines Azul with another airline, review the baggage rules for every flight on the itinerary.

Azul Airlines Check-In and Travel Documents

Azul offers online check-in on its website and app for eligible flights, which saves time at the airport. Before you fly, confirm your check-in window, departure terminal, and boarding time.

For international trips, make sure your passport is valid and you have the right entry documents. In April 2025, U.S. citizens need a visa to enter Brazil, which can be applied for online. Always check the latest Brazilian entry rules for your nationality before departure.

Connecting within Brazil? Give yourself enough time for immigration, customs, and re-checking bags at your first point of entry.

Azul Airlines Cancellation Policy

Plans change. Knowing the Azul Airlines cancellation policy before you book means you will not be caught off guard if they do. What you can do depends mainly on your fare type, the route, and when you cancel.

• The 24-hour window: For flights to or from the United States booked at least seven days before departure, U.S. rules let you cancel within 24 hours of booking without a penalty. Brazil has a similar 24-hour rule for tickets bought at least seven days ahead.

• After 24 hours: Your fare rules apply. A change or cancellation may carry a fee plus any fare difference. The lowest fares are usually the most restrictive.

• If Azul cancels or changes your flight: When the airline cancels or significantly changes a flight to or from the U.S. and you decide not to travel, you are entitled to a refund under U.S. Department of Transportation rules.

Tip: If flexibility matters, compare the price of a more flexible fare. It often costs less than a change fee later.

Azul Airlines Refund Policy

The Azul Airlines refund policy comes down to two things: the type of ticket you hold and who made the change.

• Refundable fares: If you cancel within the fare rules, you can request your money back, minus any fees the fare carries.

• Non-refundable fares: You may not get the fare back, but you may be offered a travel credit, and some taxes on unused tickets can be refundable.

• Airline cancellations: If Azul cancels your flight or makes a major schedule change and you choose not to fly, you can request a full refund to your original form of payment.

How to request a refund: If you booked through FaresMatch, contact our team and we will handle the request with the airline for you. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the airline and your bank or card issuer.
